The service

These terms apply to the VignetteLens website and browser extension. VignetteLens is an educational study aid for adult learners. AI output can be incomplete or incorrect. Verify important information against reliable sources. The service is not medical advice and is not intended for patient-care decisions.

Accounts and permitted use

Use accurate account information and keep your credentials private. Account signup requires a U.S. .edu email address and email verification. Use the service only for your own authorized study. Respect your question-bank provider’s terms and intellectual-property rights. Do not upload patient identifiers, share accounts, automate high-volume requests, bypass limits, or interfere with the service. You retain rights to your submissions and allow us to process them as needed to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy. Do not submit content you lack permission to process.

Seven-day free trial and recurring billing

Eligible new members receive one seven-day free trial. Creating an account alone does not start a paid subscription; the trial starts when you complete Stripe checkout. A payment method is required. After seven days, the subscription automatically renews at $10 per month, plus any applicable taxes, until canceled. Members who have already used a trial are charged as shown at checkout. The exact trial end and billing details are shown by Stripe. Existing subscriptions and previously started trials retain their agreed billing dates.

Cancellation and refunds

Cancel through Account → Manage / cancel, which opens Stripe’s billing portal. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid the first charge; cancel before a later renewal to avoid the next charge. Access continues until the end date shown in the billing portal. After the free trial, payments are nonrefundable, including partial periods or unused access, except where required by applicable law. Availability and fair use

Features depend on supported sites and third-party AI and payment services. We may update features, enforce the fair-use limits, or restrict access for abuse or security concerns. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or any particular exam outcome. Price or material billing changes will be disclosed before they take effect as required by law.

Privacy, responsibility, and contact

Our privacy policy explains data handling. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without guarantees of accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose, and we are not responsible for indirect losses from reliance on AI output.
